10:44 pm - Laziness
Despite what you may think, I have not just gotten extremely lazy and refused to post to my livejournal. No, dear readers, I have actually been quite ambitious and made my own livejournal. It doesn't have quite all the features, but I can customize it however I want to sine I have programmed it from scratch. Go take a look at DCortesi.com and let me know what ya think!

12:53 am - WOOOOOO HOOOOOO!
So, yea...I took my last RIT final (hopefully) on Saturday. mmmm...sooo nice to not have to think about that anymore. I just hope I did ok - got a severe case of senioritis. Oh well. In any case, I'm done!
Now I just gotta find me a job...rhmmm....I could work at RIT. Or I might stay in Rockchester and work at Dox if they liked me. There's also this place out in the midwest, but I dunno how excited I am about that. We'll see when I go out there on the 30th.
But annnnyway. Can't wait to go home and relax, and do some php scripting for mychristmaslist.org - I really gotta get that off the ground.

btw - If anybody knows of good, cheap, dedicated hosting companies what will let you have Debian Linux...lemme know. I don't know what I'm gonna do with my domain once I lose my RIT OC3 connection :-(

3:49 am - ahhh
Wow...what a day, I am SUCH a lazy bum. Sooo...I've got this 8 page paper I've been trying to write all day, but I don't know why, but I've been horribly lazy when it comes to writing papers lately and I can't do it at all.

It also didn't help that I was playing with Linux again and getting my dual head on and fun stuff like that. *sigh* I can't wait to have a real job and not have to do "schoolwork" and "homework". I'd much rather be doing "job work".

Anyway, I gotta finish this paper and crawl into bed. g'nite!

12:59 am - Hi there!
Ok...here's the deal. I have been asked to visit Crowe-Chizek's Oakland, IL office on November 30. I, of course, accepted. So far, they had been my only job opportunity.
However! Just yesterday, Dox Electronics called me yesterday and asked for an interview too. So I'm heading on over there Thursday of next week. Hmm..cool.
But now I have to possibly make a decision, which I'm horrible at...especially when they're doing such similar things.

Oh well...other than that, there's nothing interesting going on which is why I haven't posted in a while....Busy as all heck, that's for sure!

So...I wanted to play Quake 3 tonight...I popped in the CD to install it, and encounted this message:
233 Mhz CPU required.
You have a 1Mhz CPU.

umm, this is on a Dual Athlon MP 1.2 Ghz system...hehehehe...oh funny.

ok, I'll shut-up now :P

9:53 pm - Tori
Yea, so...I went alllll the way to Toronto last night to go see Tori Amos. It was purrty cool. My seats really sucked - had to lean over, scrunch down, stretch up, and anything else in order to see her speck on the stage. :-( BUT, left after the first song in the second encore and got in the second row out by the stage door outside. Sat around waiting for a good couple hours, but FINALLY she came out and I got her autograph. Neat, huh? Now I have to go do homework on a Saturday night. :-( Bye...

2:14 am - Holy damn!
I've NEVER had so much stuff ot do in all of my time here at RIT. All of a sudden, it's like I have all kinds of work all over the place. Combine that with trying to split two jobs between 20 hours and hunting for a full time job, I'm swamped!

In other news, I'm going to see Tori Amos in Toronto tomorrow night! And the best part is...I'm staying in this place called Le Royal Meridien, King Edward where I'll be getting private check-in, check-out, concierge service...etc. Pretty damn fancy!

But for now, I must pass out - gotta drive tomorrow, ugh.

Shouldn't ipfw -f flush just clear out the firewall rules in FreeBSD?? So then why when I did that did I lose all network access?? Not only that, if I plug a keyboard into it...it doesn't pick it up like it usually does. So now I have to reboot the damn thing after 8 straight days of trying to crack a password. #&%^!! Oh well..that's life, right? I could have worse problems...:)

7:24 pm - Uh oh
This is bad...I'm getting in this mood again where I don't want to do anything. I don't want to do work, I don't want to have anything to do with computers, I don't want to look for a job....I just don't want to do anything at all. I hate it when I get in these moods....especially now, since I have a major project or paper due every week from now until the end of the quarter. As Piglet says...oh dddear!
